Portfolio

Beenear - A trusted partner for Ditech | Price Optimization

Unknown

DiTech was founded in Bologna in 1991 and quickly became recognized as a provider of management programs in collaboration with key players in the GDO sector. Over time, the company emerged as a leader in information systems for retail and distribution. It has consistently innovated in the industry by developing tailored, effective, and technologically advanced solutions that support the strategic and technological growth of businesses, addressing both immediate needs and long-term goals. The development of the Price Optimization software has been a collaborative effort between #beenear and #DiTech for over a decade, making it one of the longest and most fruitful partnerships since its inception in 2004. This solution is now widely adopted by major Italian distribution chains. Price Optimization enables the automatic calculation of retail prices for consumer goods, allowing businesses to promptly respond to market changes while maintaining profitability and meeting targets, all while considering competitive positioning in local markets. The software ensures accurate pricing for all items and predicts future market trends, factoring in seasonality. From a technical perspective, the solution was built using HTML5 for the front end and JEE for the back end, with an ORACLE database utilizing Stored Procedures in PL/SQL. Beyond software development, Beenear is actively engaged in promoting the Price Optimization solution in the Brazilian market, yielding promising initial results, with several major Brazilian distribution chains already implementing the product. The Beenear team dedicated to the partnership with DiTech currently consists of over 25 experienced professionals skilled in .NET and Java technologies, who are involved in the development and enhancement of various solutions.
