MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL FLOWER & GARDEN SHOW

In partnership with Flowers Vasette, Batik created a secret garden inspired by Florence, located in the center of Melbourne's Royal Exhibition Building for client Maxiflora during The International Flower and Garden Show. The installation, nestled beneath the iconic dome of the Royal Exhibition Building, featured a hand-carved fountain designed by Batik and sculpted by a local artist from Melbourne. The fountains were embellished with lush hydrangeas, elegantly cascading into the water and overflowing from impressive heights. The outcome was a captivating fairytale garden reminiscent of a previous era, designed to handle the flow of more than 100,000 visitors.

GARDEN OF VASETTE

To mark their 30th anniversary, Flowers Vasette enlisted Batik to design an extravagant city garden party at the Hellenic Museum in Melbourne. The event featured a lavish display of the brand's signature floral artistry, and Batik embraced the task of creating an experience that highlighted the floral essence of the occasion. With a careful selection of luxurious furnishings and visually stunning culinary creations, Batik transformed the venue into a fairytale wonderland that honored the founder’s Greek roots. Drawing inspiration from a color palette of pearl, olive, and gold, Batik embellished the celebration to create a scene worthy of the Gods. Guests were greeted by a vibrant floral archway leading into a cozy garden space adorned with enchanting lighting and rare floral exhibitions. This celebration was designed to inspire guests to appreciate Flowers Vasette in the artistic and magnificent surroundings of the Hellenic Museum.

INSIDE OUT - OPEN SPACE
