The objective of this case study was to craft a comprehensive booking experience that prioritizes simplicity and conversion while addressing the complexities of travel, including pricing, dates, reviews, services, and payment processes. As a UI/UX Designer specializing in travel, I developed a full mobile app UI/UX case study using Figma. This project encompasses onboarding and authentication, destination exploration, search functionality and filtering, listing pages, destination specifics, booking procedures, payment checkout, and user profile management. The interface features a clear visual hierarchy, legible typography, and well-placed call-to-action buttons to minimize decision fatigue and instill confidence from browsing through to confirmation. The booking process is organized into distinct stages, such as selection, date selection, booking review, payment method, and confirmation. Detail pages are designed to consolidate essential information like pricing, ratings, key services, gallery previews, and map locations, enabling users to make quicker decisions without unnecessary scrolling. The checkout and payment screens adopt trust-centric designs, with transparent totals and clear moments of confirmation to mitigate drop-off rates. Built in Figma, the UI employs a scalable component strategy with consistent designs for cards, buttons, forms, navigation, and system states. Additionally, I created an interactive prototype to illustrate key user journeys and screen transitions, making the product flow straightforward for stakeholders and developers.
