Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival 2024

City of Richardson

During this festival season, the City of Richardson sought a fresh creative concept to align with the national branding of the Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival for 2024. TBS recognizes that although annual festivals maintain some branding consistency, each year requires its own unique brand kit. Our creative team finds it exhilarating to build upon the previous year's branding to develop a new set of creative assets. The City of Richardson envisioned hand-drawn artwork as the centerpiece for this year's branding to capture the festival's distinctive appearance and atmosphere. This artwork was crucial as it would be utilized across various assets in the branding process. Our team collaborated closely with the city to create and enhance hand-drawn artwork that embodied the unique spirit of the 2024 Wildflower! Festival. Through this collaborative effort and feedback exchange, we successfully refined all creative assets and produced a brand kit that represented this year’s festival vision. This encompassed all hand-drawn designs to be featured in print advertisements, digital campaigns, local publication ads (both digital and print), billboards, and hyperlocal publication promotions. The outcome was a remarkable success for Wildflower!, achieving record attendance and unprecedented engagement while providing an exciting celebration of the North Texas community through arts and music!

North Texas Giving Day 2023

Communities Foundations of Texas

The Communities Foundation of Texas aimed to rebrand the North Texas Giving Day campaign for 2023. An existing brand kit had been developed by another agency, but TBS was brought in to revamp the creative elements to align with the Foundation's vision. Their goal was to create a campaign that would better encourage donor participation. Additionally, the Foundation wanted a partner that emphasized its role as the parent organization of North Texas Giving Day. Upon joining the campaign, TBS faced the challenge of working with limited imagery, with additional visuals pending from a successful photoshoot with Texas Ranger Nathaniel Lowe. However, printing deadlines were rapidly approaching. Consequently, the Foundation tasked TBS with delivering branding swiftly and accurately. TBS responded by developing several branding concepts, including a brand kit that could function without the new images, and another that allowed for imagery insertion once it became available. Our team concentrated on these branding challenges, fully aware of the critical deadlines for printing. We also selected a new color palette for the revised logo from the previous agency’s design, and after approval, integrated these colors into the advertisements. Through collaborative efforts between TBS and the Communities Foundation, we successfully met all branding requirements to their satisfaction, aligning with their objectives. Ultimately, the campaign effectively increased both donor participation and total donations from 2022 to 2023.

Dave Campbell’s Appreciation Award by ¡Yo Quiero!

The Team Mom Appreciation Award, presented by ¡Yo Quiero! during the 2023 Texas high school football season, honored the essential contributions of eleven remarkable team moms. These often-unrecognized individuals play a crucial role in supporting student-athletes, coaches, and the community by ensuring team events run smoothly and promoting a sense of teamwork. The award aimed to highlight their selfless commitment while aligning with ¡Yo Quiero!’s focus on community involvement and support for local sports. The campaign tackled two primary issues: acknowledging the important yet frequently unnoticed work of team moms and increasing ¡Yo Quiero!’s brand visibility in the community. Through strategic partnerships, such as with Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, and a comprehensive marketing strategy, the initiative spotlighted the contributions of the moms while enhancing ¡Yo Quiero!’s presence. Key activities included online voting, social media initiatives, podcast interviews, and print advertising, reaching millions and engaging the community, resulting in over 70,000 votes and more than 2.3 million online impressions. The outcomes surpassed expectations, demonstrating significant engagement on social media, high podcast download rates, and extensive print coverage, thereby increasing ¡Yo Quiero!’s brand awareness. Beyond the immediate results, the campaign reinforced lasting community partnerships and established ¡Yo Quiero! as a respected local brand linked to family, teamwork, and support. By honoring team moms and implementing meaningful marketing strategies, the initiative created a lasting impact of appreciation and strengthened community connections.
