With almost 30 years of expertise in the fenestration sector, our company has become a frontrunner in high-rise construction and renovation, focusing on crafting commercial and residential thermal aluminum windows that seamlessly blend architectural metal and glass. Recognizing the need to modernize, we revamped our outdated backend systems, addressing inefficiencies caused by cumbersome legacy code. Our transformation involved redesigning the data access layer by developing a new inventory object model leveraging Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework to integrate diverse data sources such as external research and internal management tools. Guided by a dedicated project manager employing a waterfall approach and managed through JIRA and SystemX tools, the project successfully delivered comprehensive documentation and optimized code, completed on schedule and below budget.
