The main challenge for our client was to establish a venture unit within this well-established corporation. Their aim was not only to discover and cultivate innovative ideas but also to promote a culture of fast experimentation and entrepreneurial thinking. A significant challenge was integrating this venture unit into the current organizational framework while upholding the high standards typical of the pharmaceutical sector. Recognizing the urgent need for specialized talent to lead this venture unit, Avomind played a crucial role in overcoming the client's hurdles. By utilizing our extensive network and expertise in the life sciences field, Avomind successfully recruited an experienced Head of Venture Development along with a team of five skilled Venture Associates. This carefully selected team brought valuable experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, and the pharmaceutical industry. The appointed Head of Venture Development, with a strong history of successfully creating venture units, worked closely with the client to devise a strategic roadmap.
