Maka Health

Maka-Health is a digital health platform and marketplace that provides personalized supplement suggestions, allows users to store their health information securely, and connects them with suitable healthcare professionals. When MAKA Health approached Autonomous, they only had a vision document. Autonomous then became their entire product development team, transforming that initial concept into a fully functional platform. This platform utilizes their proprietary AI for recommendations, enables secure health data storage, manages content created by practitioners, and facilitates appointment bookings with those practitioners. Autonomous has been, and continues to be, the comprehensive development and engineering team supporting MAKA on its ongoing journey.

Data Pipeline Implementation & Data Extraction

Leagent

Leagent offers realtors a comprehensive platform that combines their website, CRM, and brand management tools. A key feature for Leagent was the integration of real-time real estate listings on the platform. To achieve this, Autonomous created a data pipeline that pulls information directly from the relevant real estate boards using the RETS standard. This data is extracted on a set schedule, transformed according to business rules, and stored in a persistent database. The listings are then indexed in Elastic Search, enabling sub-second response times for queries. Autonomous successfully reduced querying time from 2 seconds to 200 milliseconds, while allowing Leagent complete control over the data extraction process.

Management & Growth for a News Media Platform

The Republic

The Republic, a political news blog started by two entrepreneurs in Berlin, needed more technical assistance for effective management and expansion. Specifically, they required: a redesign of their website, API development, a mobile app, and improvements in analytics and SEO. Initially, Autonomous took charge of the website's daily operations, enabling the founders to concentrate on growing the business through fundraising efforts. Following that, we collaborated with The Republic to enhance the user experience, implement a new interface, and revamp the backend API to accommodate future needs. The goal was to minimize the founders' concerns about technology, allowing them to focus on business growth. Our partnership continues as we provide ongoing support in analytics and development.
