Vodafone - VLife mobile app

Vodafone

Global connectivity from the other side of the world The Challenge As Vodafone New Zealand prepared to relocate to its new 18,000m² headquarters in Auckland, they required a system to assist employees in navigating the advanced "Smart" building and maximizing its capabilities. The Solution Following a phase of collaborative planning, Atomic created VLife—a tailored mobile application for Android and iOS that connected with various assets and systems throughout the campus. Notable features included cafe ordering, navigation to meeting rooms and colleagues, and reservations for equipment. The Outcome VLife improved staff efficiency and contributed positively to their well-being. The data gathered from the app enabled Vodafone to enhance campus utilization and sustainability. The project's success led Vodafone to implement the app at their Christchurch location the following year.

JCB Hub - iOS tablet app

JCB

Enabling a worldwide salesforce in the field The challenge JCB approached Atomic to create a custom tablet application for their global sales team to use in the field. The objective was to standardize their sales process and decrease their dependence on expensive printed materials. The solution After a thorough process of research, design, and product validation, Atomic developed the JCB Hub app. This app, compatible with both iOS and Android, was accompanied by a tailored web-based administration portal that allowed JCB to have full control over the content and assets of the system. In addition to offering essential product information, the app featured advanced capabilities, such as in-cab panoramas connected to the device's gyroscope and swipe functionality to rotate 3D CGI models of the machines. The outcome Launched in 2011, the app quickly became one of JCB's most important sales instruments, leading to its global rollout in 13 countries and daily use by JCB's international dealer network.

Center Parcs - UX Strategy

Center Parcs

Enhancing conversion through superior user experience The Challenge Center Parcs aimed to enhance the user experience on their website based on feedback from customers. Atomic was tasked with improving usability and control to tackle significant issues. The Solution In close collaboration with Center Parcs’ product owner, we conducted thorough user research through customer interviews and prototypes to identify frustrations and challenges. We then implemented essential UX and UI modifications to simplify and optimize key user journeys based on these findings. The Outcome Ongoing customer feedback affirmed that the updated design provided an improved user experience, reinforcing Center Parcs' brand consistency. Our research and methodologies enabled them to maintain ongoing enhancements across all major touchpoints.
