Crafting a Loyalty App for a Thai Specialty Coffee

We collaborated with a prominent Thai specialty coffee chain named “Roots” to create a tailored loyalty app that boosts brand presence and rewards dedicated customers. Our strategy involved carrying out consumer surveys, analyzing requirements, selecting vendors, managing the project actively, and recruiting a team. CHALLENGES: The well-known Thai coffee chain “Roots” encountered difficulties in effectively conceptualizing and implementing the project. WHAT WE DID: In close collaboration with Roots, ASAP Project took a thorough approach to develop their loyalty app: Consumer Survey: We conducted extensive surveys and market analysis to grasp consumer preferences, behaviors, and expectations about loyalty programs and mobile apps. Requirement Analysis and Design: We worked with the client to analyze the survey data and define the features, functionalities, and design elements for the loyalty app. Vendor Selection: We assisted the client in choosing the most appropriate vendors for the development and implementation of the loyalty application. Active Project Management: We offered continuous project management support to monitor the development process, ensure timely delivery, and tackle any issues or challenges that emerged during implementation, along with providing ongoing consultancy insights. At the same time, we led a separate initiative to integrate the loyalty app with the existing POS system for smooth operational flows. Team Recruitment: We defined job roles and participated in interviews to recruit additional team members for the client to facilitate and support the successful execution of the project. RESULTS: Our joint efforts resulted in significant achievements for Roots: Successful delivery by the chosen vendor, effective recruitment and onboarding of a skilled team to aid the ongoing project, and leading the initiative to integrate the loyalty application with the existing POS system.
