WHAT IS A “HEALTH AND WELLNESS” APP? Health and wellness applications are designed to help individuals maintain a healthy lifestyle and optimize their mental and physical performance. While diet and exercise are often the first thoughts that come to mind, these apps encompass a broader spectrum, including areas like meditation and mindfulness, journaling or mood tracking, nutrition, fitness, stress management, and organization, among others. THE YOUVEDA WELLNESS APP ASAP developers partnered with YouVeda to create a mobile app using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms. This app enables YouVeda customers to engage with the programs tied to the products they have purchased. YouVeda offers more than just capsules; they also provide a range of supplementary resources to enhance their use. They believe that exercise, meditation, and a well-balanced diet are fundamental to healthy living, and the app offers guidance and information on these subjects, while also allowing users to monitor their progress. HOW DID WE CONTRIBUTE? Beyond developing the features mentioned for user benefit, our developers created a content management system (CMS) for the platform's backend, enabling administrators with no technical skills to upload new content daily without needing developers' assistance. With an established studio in California and a strong web presence, The Yoga Collective aimed to broaden its client base and allow users to access classes through their mobile devices. They approached us to develop a mobile app using their existing content, and we enhanced it by incorporating numerous new and exciting features. HOW DID WE HELP? The app we created seamlessly integrates with their website, enabling users to view current videos. We also incorporated support for Chromecast, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV, enhancing interaction across various devices. Furthermore, users can download videos for offline viewing, and they can set meditation timers and daily reminders for class times. Additionally, the app allows users to add background meditation music to their videos, further enriching the relaxation experience.
