Marketing analytics solution for FedEx

FedEx

Strategic Research Insights (SRI), a firm located in New Jersey, specializes in strategic marketing consulting, emphasizing qualitative and quantitative research along with Big Data analytics. Despite SRI's expertise, the technology used to present their findings was inadequate. The reliance on static PowerPoint presentations for key ROI and analytics data was inefficient and hindered the integration of real-time data. FedEx required SRI to deliver insights through a customized application that could generate tailored reports on campaign effectiveness from SRI’s data, displayed on an intuitive dashboard. After thorough research, SRI chose Asahi Technologies as its partner for software solutions, as we possessed the experience and technical know-how necessary to fulfill SRI's requirements while staying within their budget and timeline. Our team initiated the project by designing the dashboard for FedEx’s marketing analytics application. Following this, we developed a custom web application capable of connecting with third-party systems such as SOAP, REST, and JSON, and tools that queried data across all of SRI’s FedEx campaigns. The new marketing dashboard equipped FedEx with clear, real-time insights, allowing them to monitor the effectiveness of each campaign and make comparisons. SRI’s dashboard consolidated data from 50 different marketing platforms into a single location, enabling FedEx’s management team to create quarterly, biannual, and annual forecasts regarding revenue, the effectiveness of their advertising spend, and the impact on employees and the community.

I Buy Abilene

Abilene is a small town in Texas where residents often turned to businesses in surrounding areas for services that were already available locally. This led to a decline in local business and resulted in residents paying more for services that could be found in Abilene. A lifelong resident of the town came up with an idea for an app to promote local businesses while helping customers save money. To create this solution, we organized two teams: one focused on developing the mobile app and the other on building the backend system and admin portal. Our team successfully launched a user-friendly mobile application that allowed Abilene residents to access services from local businesses at discounted rates. Thanks to strong community engagement and interest from local businesses, the app has thrived. Even the City of Abilene promoted the app (named IBuyAbilene), showing their support for a platform that fosters local commerce.
