A top-5 Crypto Trading Plarform in Asia

Huobi Global

Huobi has a strong brand presence and user base in Asia and selected Artkai to help tailor their platform for the European market. To support this effort, we collaborated with UX24/7, a design research agency, to collect data. Through in-person discussions with traders, we gained valuable insights into the decision-making patterns of European users. Based on our data analysis, our team compiled a list of insights to inform the design process, which enhanced the client stakeholder's focus on customer needs. **Research Objectives:** The client ranks among the top 5 blockchain platforms in China and aims to expand into the European market. **Problem:** User preferences can differ significantly across markets. To effectively design the app, we aimed to identify the distinctions and nuances of the European market. **Challenge:** We needed to conduct research to identify the key features and focal points necessary for presenting the client's platform to a European trading audience. **Approach to Overcoming the Challenge:** - **Competitor Analysis:** We examined existing solutions and assessed competitors’ strategies for engaging successfully with European users. - **Usability Analysis:** We reviewed research provided by Usability 24/7, noting key findings and user pain points. - **User Interviews:** We conducted face-to-face interviews with traders to delve deeper into the decision-making processes and behaviors of the Western audience. - **Insights Analysis:** Through the analysis of the collected data, our team generated a list of insights to guide the design phase.
