ABOUT ARGUS HDVideo Production in San Francisco
The Argus story began ten years ago when live-streaming was still a novel technology, and ads were limited to 30 seconds. In 2008, YouTube made headlines with its first live broadcast, featuring Katy Perry and other prominent celebrities. Tim Kay, our founder and a cameraman for that event, became intrigued by the potential of live-streaming to transform media consumption and facilitate global communication. He realized there was a significant opportunity as few companies were leveraging this emerging technology. Motivated by this insight, Tim set out to create a company to meet this demand. In 2014, he officially established Argus HD, starting with just a few cameras and equipment. Since then, Argus has expanded significantly, collaborating with organizations such as Google, the Discovery Channel, SAP, the University of California, and the Golden State Warriors, and has taken its services nationwide and internationally. Today, Argus employs several team members and is committed to adopting the latest technologies, continuously striving to enhance our services to deliver the best experiences and results for our clients.
