Conversational AI for Smarter, Faster Decisions

Fortune 500 Company

We implemented a conversational AI solution that allows non-technical users to derive complex insights from data using natural language, thus speeding up decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency. By facilitating easy access to data, the system made analytics more accessible and less dependent on technical teams. It also provided personalized, context-sensitive responses, which enhanced the quality of interactions and increased user satisfaction. Instead of receiving generic outputs, users benefited from customized insights tailored to their specific roles and needs. Through strategic collaboration, we pinpointed significant business use cases and ensured the solution met both regulatory and operational standards. The underlying AI framework was built for scalability, enabling future growth into areas such as customer support, predictive analytics, and workflow automation across multi-cloud environments.

The Client. A leading global service delivery firm in Canada needed to update its technology by consolidating and redesigning 57 outdated systems to enhance the experience for their customers and service agents. The Issue. Before partnering with us, they had been collaborating with a government department that relied on an outdated transaction system filled with numerous complex business rules that were challenging to modify. The unintuitive user interface also necessitated extensive training for end-users. Without a straightforward, efficient workflow-based system, the process was lengthy, prone to mistakes, and fragmented. The Approach. The primary aim of the project was to enhance user care, minimize training time for new employees, and incorporate disaster recovery and resilience into the new solution. To achieve these goals, we designed and developed a solution that was both effective and user-friendly. Given the wide range of applications and code needed, governance logic was put in place to ensure the integrity of the solution. To best address our client’s requirements, we adopted an agile approach internally while employing a waterfall method for project delivery—this included daily stand-up meetings, scrum teams, and user research conducted with customer service agents. The Outcome. We created a new website, kiosk application, mobile app, and an integrated system for booking and managing services and appointments, connecting all in-house systems. This solution accommodates over 500,000 users annually across more than 90 public service locations and reduced the number of platforms from 57 to just six.

Page Speed Optimization & Improved UX

Roto-Rooter Plumbing

The Client: A prominent home services company in North America. The Challenge: Starting in July 2018, Google began factoring page speed into its mobile search rankings, meaning faster loading times would lead to better SEO rankings, while slower speeds would result in lower rankings. According to Google, organizations can lose about 19% of potential customers for each second a web page takes to load. Our task was to reduce load times and improve their overall Lighthouse score. The Solution: To achieve the goal of optimizing page speed and boosting conversions, we first performed a UX audit of the website. Based on this evaluation, we identified several enhancements to improve page speed and created a prioritized roadmap to meet our objectives. We utilized four primary metrics from Web Page Test—load time, speed index, bytes-in, and server request count—as benchmarks to align with Google's standards. Some of the optimizations we implemented to enhance these metrics included: The Results: We successfully decreased the client's page load time by 54%. Through rigorous testing against industry standards, the optimization of page speed led to significant improvements, enhancing the customer experience and increasing conversion rates.
