Payment platform enabling business to pay faster

Payment Logic

The Challenge PaymentLogic is a payment platform enabling Australian businesses to use their credit cards for expenses while earning reward points and qualifying for interest-free periods. As the app gained popularity, they needed to expand their team but were constrained by limited resources. Our Approach To boost their team quickly without significant expenditure, Arcanys provided 2 full-time .NET developers to assist with the payment platform at a reduced cost. Arcanys developers collaborated efficiently with their team to enhance the platform, introduce new features, and upgrade the entire system to MVC. Technologies .NET (Ninject) Project Status Since November 2016, the project has included 5 full-time developers and 1 business analyst.

Engaging easy-to-use sports events registration

RegisterNow is an Australian online registration platform that assists event organizers, clubs, associations, and universities in efficiently managing data from electronic registration forms. Due to its rapid growth, the company needed to overhaul its user interface and expand its technical team. However, they faced budget constraints and were relatively inexperienced with outsourcing. To address this, they provided a comprehensive scope of work along with a timeline and began collaborating with two .NET developers from Arcanys for a proof of concept during an initial, risk-free two-week trial. The Arcanys team modernized RegisterNow's 13-year-old system by adopting contemporary architectures and integrating the latest technologies and frameworks. Their Chief Technology Officer was so impressed with the work that he decided to hire Arcanys developers for another project, Payment Logic. The technologies utilized included .NET (AutoMapper, EntitySpaces, Ninject, Web API, xUnit), MVC 5, Azure Cloud, MS SQL, AngularJS, and Bootstrap. As of August 2016, the project comprises five full-time developers, one full-time QA, one part-time QA, one senior architect, and one business analyst. Arcanys has invested in this venture, which successfully sold to ASICS in November 2021.

The Challenge Established in Hong Kong in 2014, Think It Twice is a digital training platform tailored for professionals in the luxury retail sector. They sought to enhance their offerings by developing and implementing new features, updating their content management system, and maintaining their mobile applications for both Android and iOS. To achieve this, they required a reliable tech team that would provide a cost-effective collaboration solution. Our Approach In response to their need for a capable tech partner with extensive IT expertise, we first assigned one mobile developer to update their application and introduce new features. Subsequently, they opted to migrate their system to a serverless architecture on AWS and bring on additional full-time developers. Our team has adjusted to these developments, taking full responsibility for managing the entire project, while Arcanys has also made an investment in it.
