My goal is to enhance the lives of individuals and business owners by ensuring they can prioritize their own pay, stabilize their income, save for taxes, and set aside profits. As a Certified Profit First Professional, I possess extensive expertise in both the theory and execution of this process within a business framework. Being self-employed since 2005, I fully understand the challenges cash flow issues create for business owners. Since adopting the Profit First approach in my own company, I enjoy peace of mind, even on the nights leading up to payroll! As a facilitator with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education and Nova Scotia Business Inc, I teach business owners how to leverage their financial statements for decision-making. I believe that financial literacy is an essential skill for both adults and children. I am passionate about helping the youth in our community increase their financial knowledge. As a trainer with the Black Business Initiative in their Business is Jammin’ youth program, I guide aspiring entrepreneurs on navigating the myriad of financial products available to them, equipping them with the necessary tools to make informed decisions.
