Tide is a British fintech startup offering an ideal alternative to traditional banks for limited companies and sole traders. Opening a bank account in the UK involves multiple steps and typically takes about two weeks. However, with this app, you can set up an account in just five minutes. When we first began collaborating with Tide, they were a small team operating on a limited budget, but they now serve over 150,000 businesses in the UK. We assisted them in launching their Android app, and our partnership evolved from three months to three years. During this period, we not only developed the code but also led the recruitment and onboarding processes while managing the Android team. We believe we played a significant role in their decision to establish their own branch in Bulgaria.

This application is designed for the UK real estate market, enabling users to search for, buy, sell, and rent properties. When we embarked on its development, the client's primary objective was to compete with the two largest property agencies in England, Rightmove and Zoopla. Initially launched as a startup, OnTheMarket has since grown to become the third largest platform in the UK. This project presented significant challenges, especially given the tight deadline we successfully met. We joined the team during the final planning stages and contributed to the simultaneous development of iOS and Android apps for both phones and tablets. At that time, Swift was a new technology, having just reached its first stable release by Apple. We advocated for Swift, convincing the OTM team of its potential, which proved beneficial as it became the standard language for iOS app development. In the end, we also assisted them in establishing a dedicated development team.

K'Ching (KBC)

K’Ching educates kids on how to handle their finances and conduct online banking securely, while allowing parents to monitor their children's accounts. This iOS app was commissioned by KBC Belgium and enables users to transfer funds between accounts and view their balances and transaction history. Additionally, a new virtual assistant was created—a chatbot designed to guide users in utilizing all features of the app. Even though our team worked from three different locations, we maintained excellent communication, resulting in a smooth development process. Given the app's purpose, we needed to incorporate a robust security system. The final product became a user-friendly application for both children and their parents, making banking enjoyable and engaging.
