Since 1987, the global cement, wallboard, and steel industries have relied on IMI for exceptional expertise in fulfilling their raw material requirements. Their dedication to excellence in service has enabled them to establish a robust network of trusted, high-quality suppliers, shipping operators, and clients. Currently, IMI is involved in sourcing or shipping materials to over 60 countries worldwide. Together with their partners and affiliates, they provide more than 26 million tons of bulk materials each year. They offer innovative and cost-effective real-time solutions to any logistical challenges faced by their customers. Their product range consists of natural gypsum, bauxite, iron ore, iron fines, cement, clinker, coal, petcoke, and slag. Located in Miami, Florida, IMI operates in the Supply Chain and Construction industries and has a workforce of up to 100 employees. Context: After transporting raw materials via maritime shipping, International Materiales Inc (IMI) stores them in various "stockpiles" for later retrieval by third-party companies, which are responsible for delivering the materials to their final customers. Previously, the management of this operation was handled manually, leading to a significant operational workload and resulting errors and discrepancies in billing. Strategy: We created a multiplatform application utilizing React Native and a web-based Content Management System to oversee all transactions. Drivers can document each task performed during the loading and transporting of goods, and this data is made accessible to IMI in real-time through a Dashboard, facilitating audits and synchronization of information. Achieved Milestones: 1. Elimination of transcription errors and delays in billing. 2. Enhanced traceability of goods. 3. Reduction in administrative workload. 4. Increased customer satisfaction.

Ternium

Techint is a multinational corporation based in Italy and Argentina, established by Agostino Rocca, with its headquarters located in Milan and Buenos Aires. The company operates in over 24 countries worldwide and holds the title of the largest steel producer in Argentina, as well as the foremost global manufacturer of seamless tubes primarily utilized in the oil sector. Techint excels in several fields, including petrochemicals, refineries, mining, pipelines, roads and highways, marine terminals, bridges, dams, and airports. The company operates in Argentina within the metallurgy, construction, and oil and gas industries, employing more than 50,000 individuals. Context: The international entity Techint required the creation of a platform to integrate its various sources of internal and external information. The effectiveness of email as a communication method was waning, prompting the need for a solution to centralize multilingual content from different business units. We were chosen to execute this project due to our previous collaboration with the group on 11 different projects. Strategy: We developed a responsive application capable of gathering information from over 16 various social media platforms globally, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, while also integrating content from 12 intranets. User authentication was included to allow for content segmentation based on user access. The application was built natively for both iOS and Android devices, as well as optimized for tablets and smartphones. Achieved Milestones: Following the success of TerniumToday, we were tasked with implementing support for English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. The main qualitative outcomes include: 1. Employees remain consistently connected and informed. 2. Users receive real-time updates on company news. 3. Individuals can choose their preferred language for content access. 4. The platform offers opportunities for user feedback and the ability to conduct surveys through a robust user service engine.
