Andersen

Our company specializes in tax planning within alternative asset management, focusing on the often-overlooked management company level where immediate opportunities exist to reduce taxable income through expense management. We navigate recent tax law changes affecting expense deductibility, emphasizing the importance of proper classification and documentation. Our expertise covers a range of areas including meal and entertainment deductions, business gifts, parking and commuting expenses, and capital asset depreciation strategies. By implementing clear reporting structures, disciplined expense classification, and coordinated strategies between finance and tax teams, we help management companies maximize deductions and realize meaningful, recurring tax savings. This strategic approach ensures that expense classification is treated as a valuable function rather than a mere bookkeeping task, ultimately enhancing financial outcomes for our clients.
