Mobile app for clinicians
I implemented a thorough design process to develop an app aimed at helping clinicians manage and alleviate their stress, prioritizing user-centered design and meaningful impact. The project began with user research, where we interviewed and surveyed clinicians to gather insights about their stressors, daily habits, and preferences for self-care tools. From these findings, I identified key user personas and challenges, including time limitations, a lack of personalized options, and the need for quick stress-relief strategies in a hectic environment. During the ideation phase, we brainstormed features such as guided breathing exercises, mindfulness sessions, stress tracking, and personalized notifications. I then created low-fidelity wireframes to outline the app's structure and user flow, concentrating on simplicity and usability. After validating the initial ideas with users, I produced high-fidelity prototypes that included brand colors, intuitive navigation, and accessible design elements to enhance the user experience. Throughout the wireframing, prototyping, and user testing stages, we started with low-fidelity wireframes to establish the app’s framework and user pathways. We then developed interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, integrating essential features such as guided breathing exercises, stress tracking, and stress coaching. Finally, we performed usability testing with clinicians, evaluating navigation ease, engagement, and pain points through think-aloud sessions and task-based assessments. The feedback obtained led to iterative enhancements, ensuring the app remains intuitive and effective.
