Gleipner: A layer two solution for Ethereum Blockchain

Unknown

**Challenge**: Our aim was to create a layer two blockchain network that features a smart contract-based fee system, allowing each application to establish its own fee structure without sacrificing security and transaction speed. **Solution**: Given its permissioned and enterprise-focused design, we selected Quorum blockchain as our foundation. We introduced an additional layer to implement a programmable fee mechanism and replaced its iBFT with HiBFT to enhance trust and security among parties with varying levels of authority. **Features**: **Technologies**: Quorum, Ethereum, Golang, Elixir, Solidity, JavaScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL. **About the Client**: Integrated Blockchain Technology (IBTech.io), based in Denmark, specializes in commercializing the distribution and utilization of GSU. Gleipner is one of their projects that functions as a side chain to the Ethereum public network, catering to enterprises.

GSU Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform

Unknown

Objective: Our aim was to establish a primary marketplace for trading the Global Stability Unit (GSU) with fiat currencies, while also facilitating the trading of other digital currencies like BTC (Bitcoin) and ETH (Ethereum). Existing market solutions fall short in terms of the necessary administrative and security controls needed for operating a high-volume marketplace. Solution: The GSU Exchange is a cryptocurrency trading platform designed for security, scalability, and ultra-low latency to handle the crypto industry's high volatility. It features user-friendly processes for currency and crypto deposits and withdrawals, trading transactions, and provides a comprehensive account and transaction overview. The exchange is built using distributed and fault-tolerant technologies, ensuring flexibility and reliability. Its matching engine can accommodate any asset type, and enterprise-grade protocols for identity and access management enable seamless integration within the organization. It also includes real-time error checking and alerts for effective risk management. Additionally, a built-in KYC portal supports integration for financial institutions, ensuring compliance with digital security regulations. Customer satisfaction is enhanced through the Zendesk support system. Technologies: The platform utilizes micro-services, Java, Golang, Node JS, Python, Vue JS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Keycloak, and Kubernetes. About the Client: Integrated Blockchain Technology (IBTech.io) is the primary business focused on commercializing the distribution and application of the world’s most stable unit, the GSU. Based in Denmark, IBTech.io is committed to developing end-user applications utilizing blockchain technology.

Swap.Global: Algorithmic ERC20 Token Swap Platform

Unknown

**Challenge** Our aim was to create a straightforward method for exchanging GSU with ETH and other ERC20 tokens like USDT, eliminating the need for login or KYC. Facilitating smart contracts for decentralized token swaps is simpler when conducted peer-to-peer and doesn't rely on external systems. However, in our situation, both aspects were present. GSU is an algorithmic currency, meaning each exchange necessitates real-time communication with the rate system. Additionally, it wasn't peer-to-peer, which led to liquidity challenges. **Solution** We developed a decentralized application (DApp) that offers a user-friendly experience, enabling users to exchange GSU for ETH or USDT based on current rates. To integrate the rate system, we designed a distributed middleware to prevent any single point of failure or security breach. To maintain liquidity availability, we implemented a smart contract monitoring system that sends alerts when liquidity falls below a specified threshold. **Features** **Technologies**: Solidity, Ethereum, Golang, Truffle, Vue JS, PostgreSQL **About Client** GSU (GSU.io) is a product of the Global Stability Unit, often referred to as "the Global." It is a market-driven crypto token that outperforms traditional currencies in terms of stability and efficiency.
