The previous site was limited in its ability to create pages with intricate block arrangements and manage content without disrupting the design, leading to slow and ineffective content management. Specifically, any content modifications would alter the design, causing significant challenges for content managers. To address these issues, AWG redesigned the corporate website using Drupal modules that enable layout control from the admin panel. We incorporated additional modules like Layout Builder, Panels, and Display Suite. While these modules allowed for the creation of various layouts, they did not permit direct customization of the blocks themselves, necessitating the selection of an appropriate starter theme to minimize custom CSS. As a result of this website overhaul, AWG successfully developed pages with a sophisticated block structure through an advanced layout system without modifying the code. This method enhanced the efficiency of creating individual pages and allowed for a clear separation between content and layout. The effectiveness of this approach is exemplified by a block that was created without adding any custom code.

Project Objective: The client sought to enhance the website's personalization to provide a tailored user experience that meets the needs of site visitors. For this client, the content displayed will vary depending on the user's type (e.g., registered/not registered, moderator/curator). Solution: AWG created multiple page designs and integrated features to show customized pages based on selected user criteria. To facilitate this, our team employed the Page Manager module, enabling the website administrator to effortlessly develop and manage custom layouts for different user categories. Result: Our solution has empowered managers to update content and generate new pages using the designed templates and methods effectively, leading to quicker and more cost-effective content management.
