We worked with a leading multinational pharmaceutical company as our client. Our DevOps team was responsible for automating various projects and establishing a strong Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) framework to support over 500 developers, strictly following industry best practices. Additionally, we developed an advanced tracking system aimed at visualizing complex manufacturing processes for a variety of chemicals and products, while also enabling precise workforce planning. Our supervision included six significant projects, where we played crucial roles in DevOps strategies as well as development and schema design. The technology stack utilized for these initiatives featured an integration of state-of-the-art tools, such as Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, GitHub Actions for efficient workflows, Rancher for container orchestration, and AWS with EKS for cloud deployment.

Our team successfully developed an autoscaling solution in under a year, achieving predictions with an impressive accuracy rate of over 94%. This accuracy was based on a comprehensive scoring process utilizing a detailed six-month dataset. The implementation involved deploying across two cloud platforms, AWS and Azure. Our technical capabilities featured various programming languages and tools, including Kubernetes (in the form of AKS and EKS), Python, Java, C#, and Node.js. The complex data orchestration process included fetching data from Teradata, storing it in an internal cluster, and carefully processing and analyzing it using a Python scoring model.

Atigeo

Atigeo was a caring technology company that transformed scientific concepts into big data products and services. They developed xPatterns, a cloud-based platform for big data analytics (PAAS) that offers abstraction tools for creating analytical applications, available either as a managed cloud service or for deployment on the customer’s or partner’s infrastructure. Their infrastructure evolved from using Cloudera, Hadoop, and Hive to adopting Spark, Shark, Tachyon, and Mesos, providing enterprise support for the Berkeley Data Analytics Stack (BDAS). They also contributed to the development of new REST SparkSQL/Shark Server (Jaws) and a Spark Job Server (which is open source at www.github.com/atigeo). At times, they needed to modify the open-source code (Spark, Mesos, Tachyon) to enhance the latest version of the stack for product development. Additionally, they created the ETL pipeline for various analytical applications using custom Hadoop/Spark jobs and Hive/Spark SQL scripts, along with distributed tasks to transfer data between HDFS/Tachyon and Cassandra/Solr utilizing Hadoop-MR/Spark.
