Rebuilt a public transport web application
Project overview: Taking on this project was a significant honor and presented us with numerous exciting challenges. We became part of a team of 50 individuals, including 6 senior developers, tasked with the reconstruction of an enterprise system. Despite the challenges, we relished every moment! Our staff augmentation services supply IT firms with the additional personnel necessary to complete their projects. Recently, we collaborated with an enterprise client to develop an Angular front-end application for Hungary's largest public transport system. This initiative showcased the advantages of our team augmentation model, enabling the distribution of tasks by expertise and accelerating the project's completion with enhanced efficiency.
Solution: Enhancing scalability to meet deadlines: To ensure a timely delivery and fulfill the client's needs, we expanded the team from 3 to 6 members. This increase in capacity allowed us to effectively manage the workload and finish the project within the set timeline.
Consultation: Collaborating with the development team from our partner's organization was essential for delivering a high-quality product. We prioritized regular consultations and closely worked together throughout the development phases.
Understanding customer requirements: Collaborative efforts were vital for creating a successful product, and we devoted many hours to discussions with Business Analysts to grasp the project's needs thoroughly. It was crucial to engage with other team members, including managers and stakeholders, who offered valuable insights that contributed to achieving the best possible results.
Results: Project duration: Over 1.5 years of active collaboration with more than 10,000 coding hours. Scaling: Increased capacity from 3 to 6 as needed. User traffic: The application supports over 1.8 million daily users. Transactions: The new web application processes more than 343,000 daily transactions.
