**BACKGROUND** Introduce your organization and your role. I serve as the senior creative director at Sunrise Banks. **OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE** What issue were you looking to resolve with 8bitstudio? We aimed to create a digital version of our impact report in addition to our traditional printed booklet, which required assistance with developing a microsite. **SOLUTION** What was the extent of their contribution? 8bitstudio initially helped us conceptualize the microsite by creating a sitemap, mood boards, and a design that mirrored the printed booklet we were developing simultaneously. The team collaborated closely with our in-house designer to ensure the brochure was consistent with the microsite. Our goal was to create an interactive experience rather than a simple static page, and they proposed several ideas to achieve that. After a few revisions, they delivered the completed microsite. What was the composition of the team? I collaborated with Matthew (CEO), Erika (Account Manager), Alayna (Visual Designer), and Joshua (Lead Developer). How did you begin your partnership with 8bitstudio? We intended to work with them in the past, but it didn’t materialize due to budget limitations. **INVESTMENT** How much did you invest with them? We allocated over $50,000 for the project. **ENGAGEMENT STATUS** When did this project take place? The engagement lasted from March to June 2021. **RESULTS & FEEDBACK** What evidence do you have that highlights the impact of this collaboration? The team provided an outstanding site design while adhering to both budget and schedule. Additionally, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive — several customers reached out specifically to commend the report. Overall, 8bitstudio really met our expectations. **PROJECT MANAGEMENT** How did 8bitstudio perform in terms of project management? The 8bitstudio team excelled in their project management. They were very flexible and embraced our desired approach. We reviewed their work continuously during the development process instead of waiting until the end for changes. This allowed us to evaluate their progress quickly, and they were responsive to modifications, which ensured everything proceeded smoothly. We utilized InVision to collaboratively review the sitemap and screens, making the process very efficient. **IMPRESSIONS** What impressed you most about them? Working with 8bitstudio was a pleasure — they were an innovative and engaging team. They fostered a true partnership by being closely involved with us throughout the process. The team was personable and approachable, creating a family-like atmosphere. They got to know me personally and frequently checked in, which stood in stark contrast to my previous experiences with other vendors. Additionally, 8bitstudio shared our commitment to community support, making our collaboration even more rewarding. **AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT** Are there any ways they could enhance their services?
