A client utilizing WooCommerce and WooCommerce Subscriptions sought a loyalty program to promote repeat purchases and incentivize customer engagement. Traditional loyalty programs often fall short in accommodating intricate point earning criteria, tailored redemption processes, and integration with subscription products and consulting services. To address this, we developed a robust loyalty program platform featuring custom point earning rules, tailored redemption workflows, and user-friendly customer dashboards. The system seamlessly connects with WooCommerce orders, subscriptions, quizzes, and unique business events to reward a variety of customer interactions.

FastTrack API WordPress Integration

An investment firm overseeing numerous funds encountered a significant issue: keeping precise, current financial data across hundreds of tickers, tens of thousands of documents, and performance metrics while adhering to regulatory standards. The manual updating of market prices, dividend details, performance data, and regulatory documents on WordPress resulted in high operational costs and raised the chances of outdated information reaching investors. To address this, 84EM developed a custom WordPress plugin from scratch that fully automates the data flow between the FastTrack API and WordPress. This system continuously updates market data, performance metrics, dividend details, and fund information without any manual effort. Investment teams can manage various fund types, including ETFs, closed-end funds, SICAVs, open-end funds, and money market funds through a single WordPress interface. Background processes use the Action Scheduler for data updates, ensuring website visitors consistently see the most up-to-date information while administrative staff can concentrate on investment strategies instead of data entry. For data not available on FastTrack, the plugin offers bulk import tools for handling Excel and CSV files with holdings data, SFTP integration for the automated retrieval of files from custodians like BNY and ICE, and a thorough document management system that links regulatory filings to specific funds and tickers.

Enterprise WordPress Security Implementation

84EM developed an extensive security and maintenance framework based on the principles of least privilege and environment separation. This solution created separate staging and production environments with role-based access controls, ensuring that all modifications are tested prior to deployment. We set up a secure one-way deployment pipeline that enables content, plugins, and themes to transition smoothly from staging to production, restricting access to the production site to authorized users only. Additionally, we disabled the installation and editing capabilities for themes and plugins, effectively turning the production website into a read-only environment.
