Blockchain-based IT services: fine art industry

Artclear

Artclear is a tech firm that connects physical art pieces to verifiable information about them, offering a solution to longstanding issues in the art sector related to artwork identification and authentication. The challenge involves integrating IoT technologies, blockchain, a network of client applications, and a range of tools for both clients and backend systems. The company’s technology is designed to safeguard high-value art assets, which necessitates a robust system against cyber threats and adherence to sound design principles to ensure long-term scalability. To address this challenge, we initiated the process with a series of workshops with the client. Our software architect developed product specifications during these sessions, which were then validated with the development team. Our team rolled out features across various infrastructure levels, some of which were released early to allow end-users to access them. Additionally, we incorporated Artclear’s custom scanning devices into our system. As Artclear's software development partner, we engage in discussions on key challenges and make informed decisions based on our expertise. We have successfully implemented a token-minting feature. After concluding the MVP phase, we are currently working on developing the client application. Through the system we created for Artclear, users can easily access Artclear’s services. From a single platform, clients can log artwork details, schedule scans, and generate blockchain-secured digital Certificates of Authenticity for their artworks.

Custom blockchain fundraising platform - Colony

Colony

Colony is an innovative, community-focused ecosystem accelerator designed to establish a well-incentivized base for the next wave of applications on Avalanche, a platform offering open and programmable smart contracts for decentralized applications. To achieve this, Colony plans to gradually adopt a DAO structure to decentralize its operations. As the pioneering project of its kind in the cryptocurrency sector, Colony employs a groundbreaking Ecosystem Farming strategy that maximizes benefits for both startups and investors through various services. Although Colony has an ambitious vision for the future, the primary focus of our partnership was to ensure a successful launch of the project. We aimed to achieve a satisfactory time-to-market while developing adaptable and future-proof solutions for Colony. To kick off our collaboration, we held workshops to align client expectations and gain insight into their requirements. After establishing the architecture of the platform, we proceeded with the actual development. Our technology stack is primarily based on Solidity, with the platform operating on the C-Chain of Avalanche, which utilizes the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). For testing and deployment, we relied on Node.js and TypeScript, while the platform’s frontend was crafted using Node.js, TypeScript, and React. Key features prioritized before the launch included vesting, staking, and airdrop distribution, with inspiration drawn from Synthetix for the development of airdrops and staking. Token distribution occurred in proportion to the staked amount over time. As a result of our team's extensive experience in both business and technical aspects of DeFi development, we met all deadlines successfully, leading to Colony's platform launch as planned. This was a significant achievement, marking the largest fundraising in the Avalanche ecosystem to date, with Colony securing $21 million for its future development.
