THE SOFTWARE SoProd, developed by Solocal Group, is a production management tool designed to oversee all company operations. It manages service and product requests, facilitates task assignment, and automates various processes through flexible and dynamic workflows tailored to each product or service. The software includes multiple interfaces for specific functions like CRM, KPIs, Configuration, and Consultation, each with varying access levels based on user permissions. Additionally, it boasts numerous integrations with third-party software and platforms. CHALLENGE In providing our Outsourcing and Nearshore services, our goal is to enhance both remote and on-site services as required. The primary challenge of this project is to improve performance and develop new features. Since it functions as a production software, collaboration was essential with both the IT team and stakeholders connected to the production team. This engagement helps to clarify their needs, current challenges, and desired features. SOLUTION By prioritizing performance and conducting a thorough review and restructuring of the codebase, we identified several areas for improvement. This overhaul led to significant performance gains, with existing interfaces loading 2 to 5 times faster while preserving all functionalities and user experience. From a production standpoint, these enhancements notably reduced downtime for employees, thereby increasing product output. Furthermore, new and restructured features were developed, including KPIs, Flow Diagrams, Production sub-flows, customer order management, and external integrations, among others.

CHALLENGE The task of documenting and overseeing the work and reports of Centrocar mechanics was done manually and required daily management. Although this task was costly, it involved filling out paper forms, which sometimes led to illegible information due to the deterioration of the materials or other similar issues. Consequently, the challenge was to automate these processes to enable easier and more efficient recording of time and tasks, with automatic integration into the system to prevent potential data loss. SOLUTION The proposed solution was the creation of a mobile application for Android, designed for mechanics to input their work details with just a few clicks, which would then be transmitted and integrated into the company's system. Since some job sites have restricted or no mobile network access, the application needed to function in offline mode to ensure normal operation in such environments. All interactions between the application and the system are facilitated through a REST API, which was also developed by our team, serving as a “bridge” connecting the mobile application to the system.

CHALLENGE The project involves developing a web portal for all employees aimed at digitizing the evaluation procedures, goals, and outcomes of various teams within the group’s companies. As this is a software solution specifically for the DESFO GROUP, the database needed to be built from the ground up, with data integration achieved by importing Excel files to prevent direct access to the different companies' databases. Additionally, access levels must be differentiated based on user roles: employees, supervisors, and human resources managers, with each role having access to distinct menus and functionalities. The software is also designed to send regular email alerts to both employees and their managers. SOLUTION Given that the goals and results hinge on evaluation scores, the Evaluations module was the first to be designed and developed. To facilitate this, a configuration panel was created where platform managers can set up evaluation blocks that include titles, descriptions, and response options—via select boxes, checkboxes, or open text fields. The evaluation process is structured into three phases: self-assessment, evaluation, and feedback. Upon submission of each evaluation, the final score is calculated automatically. The evaluation form presented to employees is tailored to their specific position/department.
