Designing an identity for social impact

Dalmia Foundation

Dalmia Foundation serves as the charitable branch of Dalmia Polypro, focusing on funding important initiatives. Our mission was to reshape the concept of giving back to the planet, and as the brand's visual creators, we embraced this vision as the foundation of the brand. The brand identity features a contemporary tree symbolizing this ethos, where the trunk and roots reflect deep-rooted efforts, and each leaf represents the unity of individuals forming a community committed to giving back. The overall aesthetic is enhanced by a modern yet calming palette of blues, symbolizing the commitment to climate action. This identity has been thoughtfully designed to seamlessly extend and adapt into various physical materials and stationery, including merchandise, t-shirts, business cards, and more.

Branding & packaging design for beverage brand

Crossroad beverages

**Brand Overview** Crossroad offers a premium, non-alcoholic beverage experience in India, distinguishing itself from the typical sugar-laden flavored sodas that dominate the market. **Challenges** These beverages occupy a premium niche in the non-alcoholic segment but failed to visually represent their high-end status. As small-batch crafted drinks, their fresh flavors were not effectively communicated to consumers. Despite providing a luxury experience, the current packaging design did not allow them to stand out on store shelves. **Approach** Through personal discussions with the company founders, we clarified their business goals and the brand message they wanted to share with their audience. Drawing inspiration from architectural designs, we created a brand identity that was elegant, refined, and sophisticated. Our branding was designed to be easily integrated into the layout of their physical store, featured on their custom furniture, and aligned with the UI of their online store. **Impact** The revamped branding and packaging design now perfectly matched the premium quality of the beverages. The concept of the drinks as a "crossroad," representing a flavorful blend of two ingredients, became a central theme. We delivered designs that resonated with the vision of the Crossroad team, helping the brand stand out on shelves and enhancing its recall value.

Annual calendar design

Aditya Birla Capital

**Brand Overview** The Aditya Birla Group is a global Fortune 500 conglomerate with a workforce exceeding 187,000 employees from 100 different nationalities. With a legacy spanning seven decades, the company operates across various sectors, including metals, textiles, telecommunications, financial services, and renewable energy, demonstrating a commitment to responsible business practices and creating value for stakeholders. **Scope of Work** The calendar design played a vital role in boosting the brand image of Birla Sun Life Insurance by presenting a contemporary and approachable aesthetic while still reflecting the seriousness typical of the insurance industry. By integrating fun elements into the design, engagement levels were heightened, making the calendar more memorable and fostering a positive connection with the audience, especially within the banking sector. As the first agency to implement the Aditya Birla Group’s rebranding, the calendar design effectively demonstrated the agency’s capacity to adapt to and align with the new brand guidelines. The final design received positive feedback from Birla Sun Life Insurance, highlighting their satisfaction with its effectiveness in delivering the desired message to the target audience.
