MAC Group - Creating a complex website integrated with an external store

SCOPE OF WORK: THE CHALLENGE: Develop a website with a comprehensive information architecture that caters to "non-technical users" while organizing a diverse array of content related to the MAC.pl products. OUR TASK: Our objective was to establish an information architecture that was intuitive for non-technical users, enabling easy navigation of the website and quick comprehension of the brand’s complex product offerings. By leveraging UX recommendations and thorough user research, we designed a website structure that is clear and highly user-friendly. SOLUTION: Drawing from the client's analyses and research, we created a programming portal that includes all the specified functionalities, designed for ease of use by all visitors. Throughout the project, we focused on addressing key challenges while crafting an organized and transparent information structure that enhances user experience, making it accessible for those without technical skills. We developed a Teacher Zone where teachers, using their login credentials, could update their information in the system (which is integrated with Customer Service and CRM) and access exclusive content, significantly alleviating the workload of the client’s call center. Additionally, we prepared the website to handle high traffic levels, allowing the MAC Group to conduct videoconferences and webinars, complete with dynamically generated certificates for users. We constructed the website to operate seamlessly in the cloud (utilizing 3-6 application servers, one database server, and a load balancer) and to enable the client to independently adjust various elements of the website, allowing for updates to the product offerings and content.

InPost - creating a contest with custom mechanics

SCOPE OF WORK: THE CHALLENGE: To develop a contest that merges online and offline experiences while reflecting the brand’s voice, which emphasizes efficiency, modernity, and user-friendliness. OUR TASK: We launched "A Gnome on Tour," a summer promotion utilizing the extensive network of Parcel Lockers across Poland. This campaign allowed users to send InPost gnomes on long, complimentary vacations to destinations throughout the country. Participants formed teams to transport a garden gnome from one parcel locker to another, with each team having just one gnome. The team whose gnome traveled the farthest within the given timeframe won. There was no limit to the number of trips (and parcels) made. Our responsibilities included designing all graphics, app development, server maintenance, implementing the necessary contest mechanisms, and verifying outcomes. SOLUTION: Our work involved creating a Facebook application where users could join teams, receive their gnome, and send promotional parcels as part of the initiative. The app facilitated communication among users and allowed them to track their gnome’s location in Poland at any time. The app we developed achieved full integration with the client’s system (web service), enabling users to send parcels, monitor statuses, and manage their accounts. The entire system was built using Ruby on Rails, launched in a cloud environment, and we handled its operation and effective maintenance.

Rosa Group - Design and implementation of a website and CMS

**Scope of Work: OUR RESPONSIBILITY:** Our primary responsibility involved the complete implementation of a system, which encompassed several components such as the website, a content management system (CMS) for managing both the website and the product database, a product card generator, and an API for the mobile application. The client required the capability to edit all subpages of the website and efficiently handle a large database of nearly 2,000 products in an appealing manner, all while ensuring a responsive web design. Additionally, we were tasked with transferring the client's database and importing all its components into the new system, while maintaining constant connectivity with the mobile application. **SOLUTION:** During our project, we developed the front end using the ZURB Foundation framework, while the back end was built on PHP Symfony. We primarily utilized MySQL as the database, but also incorporated MongoDB and Memcached to enhance performance. We created a CMS panel that allows for seamless content management on the website via a user-friendly visual block editing system, and we designed a novel method for showcasing light poles. The CMS panel also supports operations from multiple locations and includes a configurable system for roles and access permissions. For managing the product database, we implemented a feature that enables previewing and publishing updates.
