The Situation Royal Caribbean approached us with the goal of speeding up their innovation process and enhancing their image as a more innovative brand in the industry. They sought assistance in implementing some of their major concepts, as well as branding support for Sea Beyond, one of their most significant events aimed at showcasing their innovations to the public. The Solution We began by establishing a creative direction and creating a set of brand guidelines for the Sea Beyond event. These guidelines were then implemented across numerous applications, experiences, and innovations that were to be showcased by their CEO during the main event. Additionally, we collaborated closely with Royal’s internal product team to design and launch several consumer-ready experiences, including a chat application for passengers to use while on their cruises.

The Context We began our partnership with Lime in October 2017. At that time, they were a startup called "LimeBike," only four months old, focused on operations and business development. Although they were experiencing rapid growth, they required substantial assistance to expand globally across all their channels. The Approach We collaborated closely with Lime, placing our leadership team as their Interim Head of Design for six months. This involvement was aimed at enhancing their design execution, enabling them to expand from 5 to over 150 markets worldwide. We assisted in creating design templates for all key customer interactions, optimizing their internal design processes, and overseeing their outsourced design contractors, which ultimately contributed to their growth towards a valuation exceeding $2 billion.

Pioneer Rayz approached us with a groundbreaking product that was already available in Apple Stores globally. However, their brand was not effectively conveying the innovation of their products and struggled to resonate with their primary target audience. In response, Powerhouse initiated a global brand revitalization aimed at more effectively showcasing the brand’s distinct features and attracting their millennial demographic through social media and retail settings.
